Description

I discovered this scooter in Agropoli, Italy, a simple, well-worn vehicle that blended into its surroundings. Parked against a crumbling yellow wall, with wet, moss-covered stones beneath it, the scene felt both ordinary and timeless—begging to be captured. Through my painting, I transformed this everyday moment, adding hand-painted whimsical flowers on the scooter to bring playfulness and charm to what is often a utilitarian sight in Italy.

This 20×20” hand-enhanced painted photograph on canvas, simply framed in black, offers a vibrant take on Italian street life. The bright yellow scooter now the focal point, stands against the aged, textured wall, its peeling layers revealing the passage of time.
